Raleigh King

Obituary of Raleigh Frederick King

Please share a memory of Raleigh to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Raleigh was born 15 weeks early on April 25, 2018 to Geoffrey King and Erika Hauck.  Raleigh spent his entire life between three neonatal intensive care units in Sioux Falls, SD, Omaha, NE, and Minneapolis, MN.  He captured the hearts of all those who took care of him.  He enjoyed listening to those around him and loved to hold onto the fingers of his visitors.  His favorite pastime was watching an animal mobile that hung over his bed.

In addition to his parents, Raleigh is survived by paternal grandparents Mark and Michelle Fischer; maternal grandparents Daniel Hauck and Brandi Rose; great-grandparents Steven and Kathy King, Gebhardt and Marcella Fischer, Verlyn and Sharon Hauck, and Larry and Evelyn Cleland; aunts Katelynn (Brady) Rothschadl, Caroline (George Peterson) King, Abby, Hannah, and Laura Fischer; uncles Jordan Rose and Evan and Brandon Borszich; great-aunt Tonya Burks; and a very special “Aunt” Julie Mendel.  He was loved by numerous great-aunts and great-uncles, as well as other family and friends.
