Carol K. (Gosser) Reisner,, age 74 of Yankton, SD passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Avera Yankton Care Center, Yankton. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton, SD with Rev. Jon Cooke officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories in Yankton, SD. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014 from 3PM to 8PM at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory, Yankton with the family present from 5PM to 8PM. Visitations will resume one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Carol's nephews: Doug, Dean and Dale Hunhoff, step son-in-law, Tommy Trau, Victor Bush and Tony Rokusek. Carol Kay (Gosser) Reisner was born on January 7, 1940 to William and Adella (Mueller) Gosser of Olivet, SD. She was baptized in infancy at Immanuel Church in Menno, SD. Carol was confirmed on July 11, 1954. She grew up on the family farm and attended Olivet Grade School. She attended Menno High School graduating in 1958. On July 26, 1963 she was united in marriage to Ralph Reisner, to this union a son, Terry Alan, was born. Carol worked at the South Dakota Human Services Center in Yankton for almost 37 years. She loved taking care of people. Carol is a member of the United Methodist Church of Olivet, SD but attended Calvary Baptist Church in Yankton since 1965 and since May, she attended Discovery Church. She loved helping at the church. She was a very dedicated mother, grandmother and friend. Her memory will always be cherished by her husband Ralph, one son Terry (Amanda) Reisner of Sioux Falls, SD, two step-daughters whom she thought of as her own daughters Lori (Tommy) Trau and Tonya (Chris) Davidson, all of Virginia Beach, VA, three grandsons, Eli, Garrett and Deacon Reisner of Sioux Falls, SD, five step grandchildren Zach and Emma Trau, Jessica, Amanda and Christina Davidson, all of Virginia Beach, VA and 3 step great-grandchildren Molly, Gwendolyn and Jacob Davidson. She also leaves behind one sister Sundra (Ron) Hunhoff of Yankton, two brothers, Virgil (Cara Lynn) Gosser of Philomath, Oregon and Harold "Jap" (Carmen) Gosser of Springfield, SD and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Adella Gosser and twin brothers Roy and Ray Gosser. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Discovery Church; P. O.
