Was just thinking about a funny story I have of gg. When grandma called she asks if Mr t could come over while I run to the store for bread for her. Which I feel she called a lot for bread or just something from the store so we would forsure stop. While I am at the store she calls. Amber I am teaching Trenton how to play 21 and he has won all my dimes. Can you swing by the bank to get us some more please. So cute! We love you gg and Mr. t sure misses playing cards with you and seeing you almost daily. Maybe to can win some 21 in heaven! Attached is a picture of Trenton and his GG dancing at Heather and Matt‘s wedding to Elvis of course!!

I wanted to get up during the service to speak, but it was so hard. I was unable to do it. I’m not one for talking in public. I remember as a child mom would always make our clothes we would always have matching dresses, but each of us would have a different color. I know we went to many schurman family weddings and everyone always knew who we belong too.
Mom was a great strength of support when my husband Steve was diagnosed with esophageal cancer every day she would call and say Steve how are you doing? What can I make for you to eat today? She always insisted on making something every day two or three different kinds of soups in one week. Many times it was more than we could eat so we didn’t want to go to waste so I started taking it to work with me at the PD So when I would bring it in the other people in the office would say what did mom make for us for lunch today? Everyone always enjoy the different things. You’re very weak we went out shopping for groceries etc. she enjoyed when Trenton went along because he would help her get the stuff off of the shelf and organize the cart for her .
When dad was diagnosed with cancer, we took turns helping mom care for him. She Amazed me, how strong she was during that Time. About the last week at the Nursing home she would call out for Jim so we know when she passed dad came for her. They are having wonderful reunion in heaven.
Trenton said one of his favorite memories of his GG was making fruit salad with her every holiday it was always their job to do that.she Enjoyed showing him how to do it !
He played a lot of cards with her Uno 21 Amberlee said one day she was getting stuff for Gigi at the store when she called her and asked her to stop at the bank and get a roll of dunes because she was playing 21 with Trenton and she needed more. Dimes Trenton was beating her. He Enjoys spending a lot of time with his GG. From him, quizzing her on the capitals of the states One day she said to me, Brenda you got to give me a cheat sheet of the capitals of the US states so I can brush up on them before Trenton comes back and quizzes me again! Many times they would be hanging out and watching a video And she always had a bucket of popcorn for them to share! From day one she nicknamed Trenton, Mr. T that is what she always would call him

Wonderful memories of my children and their 1st communion pictures I found today from Curtis big day in April 2003 to Shayla 1st communion on our last day in Yankton in Dec 2008.
