Dear Shirley,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Bill from 1993-2001 at M-tron. He was a great asset to me and the company as he brought so much knowledge and attention to detail to the workplace and his customers. I also shared a great hobby (profession) with him in amateur radio as I also have been a licensed ham since 1965. That interest at a young age steered me into electronics and manufacturing and allowed me to have met Bill. He was a wonderful person!

The funeral Mass and burial at the cemetery were beautiful, poignant celebrations of Bill's life - his faith, his family, his country, his love of music, etc. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. I pray that your faith in the resurrection sustains you in this time of grief, and the hope that one day we will all be together again in heaven comforts you. My condolences to Shirley and family. I worked with Bill for a short time before his retirement from Mtron and he was quite the character! But, more often in the years following, I enjoyed hearing him sing at Sacred Heart while Shirley played accompaniment. It always made for a beautiful celebration of the Eucharist when they were over in the choir area! Eternal rest grant unto Bill, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Sad to see Uncle Bill leave us. I enjoyed seeing him at family events and catching up. He was always so gracious and kind. It was fun to walk around Rome years ago with Bill and Shirley, seeing the sights and taking in the city. Fond memories of being with Bill while he filmed the Roman tour. I can't think of my Uncle Bill without thinking of family. His family was everything to him and it showed in everything he did. He was always there with a hug and kind words each time I saw him. I will enjoy hearing him on the CD he and Shirley made. He was a one of a kind and I know he will be missed by so many.
