Obituary of David Warnock
David was born October 21, 1956 in Yankton, SD to Guy & Frieda (Schmidt) Warnock Jr. He grew up in Yankton and graduated from Yankton High School. He worked at Cimpl Meats, Gurneys, Fordyce Locker, Sapa and Minerva's Restaurant. He moved to Sioux City for a while, worked at I.B.P. in Dakota City earlier and then moved back to Yankton. Growing up, he loved camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. David joined Boy Scouts, earned Eagle Scout and helped with cub scouts, which his two sons were involved in. He loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, outdoor cooking and bird watching. He was a great outdoor person. He was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and a great friend to many.
David will truly be missed by his two sons, Mike (Crystal Samuelson) of Yankton, SD and Jeremy Warnock (girlfriend, Jessica) of Tennessee; grandchildren: Morgan, Emma and Damien, all of Yankton, SD; four sisters: Marcia (John) Bruse of Bellvue, NE, Pam (Carl) Sanders and family of Sheridan, WY, Cindy (Larry) Wuestewald and family of Yankton, SD; Kathy (Gordon) Sage of Yankton, SD; aunts, uncles, nephews nieces, cousins and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a few aunts and uncles.
