Obituary of Robert G. Harvey
Robert Glenn Harvey, the son of Glenn and Myrtle (Anderson) Harvey, was born on April 14, 1940 at Akron, Iowa. He spent his early years in Hawarden, Iowa and received his education near his childhood home. Robert remained in western Iowa for most of his adult life and was later united in marriage to Carol Roth, and their respective families were combined into one large one. He was engaged in the lawn service and landscaping business up until the time of his passing. The couple moved to Menno, SD and worked in the community for many years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol; daughter Jeanise (Bruce) Moore and their children: Desarie (Charles) Evelo, Robert (Kim) Nohava, Marcus McKinney, Jennifer Bailey, Jason Moore, Heather Moore, Laura Moore, Lisa Moore, and Jonathan Carlos Bastos; eighteen great-granchildren; son Marty Onnen and his children: Cody Onnen and Alex Onnen; two great-grandchildren; daughter Sandra McLean and her children: Alisha (Clayton) Bickel, Russell (Amanda) Chord, Audra(Brian)Hyttinen, Heather (Riley) Campbell, Dezman McLean, and Darius McLean; eight great-grandchildren; his family by marriage: Tabetha (Brian) Chance, Trent (Jeni) Chance and one daughter; Tina (Kevin) Van Beek, Cameron (Ashley) Van Beek and their three children; Jaron (Kaddee) Van Beek and their child; also Addisyn and Treyson; two brothers: Larry (Shari) Harvey, and Roger Harvey; other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Susan; wife, Verla; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Harvey.
