My sincere sorrow is deeply expressed towards Laddie Ray's passing, as well as to Pam, Jennifer & Jason Cool, Kristin & Dan Grover and his grandchildren; his siblings, also my relatives and everyone who genuinely loved this man. It's very reassuring he was welcomed up in Heaven by his parents, all of his loved ones and friends... However, he is already missed here with all of us, on Planet Earth. Our hearts go out to you Pam and your family. Many exciting Pickellball games were played at The Grand. Laddie a true competitor with a great laugh. Sorry to hear about Laddie! When my mother passed we had played a round of golf together. I called him and told him my Mother had passed in Sioux Falls. He told me don't worry he'll take care of it. Laddie was a compassion it man

I was a student at Mount Marty in 1991 when I started working for Laddie. I spent nearly 4 years living at the funeral home and working for Laddie. First as a night attendant and then as a funeral director apprentice. He was very impractful in my life and I still can hear some of his great sayings. It was always fun listening to music with him in the car! Much of my work ethic, drive and accomplishment in life can be directly attributed to Laddie. He was a truly great man, who loved life and his family. My deepest sympathies to Pam, Kristen and Jennifer, as well as the entire family.
