LeRoy A. Kuestermeyer, age 93 of Yankton, SD passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton. 

LeRoy was born December 14, 1924 in Hitchcock, SD to Fred and Mary (Wieben) Kuestermeyer.  He married Delaine Aubert on April 14, 1946 in Hitchcock, SD and were married for 72 years.  LeRoy served in the WWII and Korean Conflict in Naval Communications and was present for D-Day.  He worked for United Building Center for 33 years.  LeRoy loved to dance Big Band music and playing cards.

LeRoy is survived by his wife, Delaine of Yankton, SD; sons, Alva (Jackie) of Denver CO, Guy (Anita) Surprize of Arizona and Jack of Reno, NV; daughter, CharLene of Sun City, AZ; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his mother, father, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
