Krueger and confirmed on May 17, 1936 by Rev. K.J. Stuebbe in Tripp, SD at the Freiden’s Reformed Church. Eddie went to school at Baltzer School #43. On July 20, 1943, he was married to Noverna Reiner by Rev. Grether and to this union three sons were born: Delven, Delray and Glen. They were married for 72 years, 6 months and 4 days. During his life time, Eddie had various jobs; he farmed from 1942 until 1950 near Tripp, SD. They then moved into Tripp and he worked for the Les William Chevrolet Garage until 1957. Then they moved to Menno and he worked for the Minneapolis Moline Company until 1964. His last job was working for the State Highway Department until 1976. During that time he had a heart attack which limited him, so he decided to retire from the State. In retirement, he kept busy making toy farm machinery out of wood and iron and also, fancy stage coaches with horses. He enjoyed showing his toys at the Menno Pioneer Power Show which gave him much satisfaction and joy in his life. Word spread about his toys and now many others are enjoying his homemade toys too. He was a member of Peace Christian Reformed Church in Menno. Due to failing health, Eddie entered the Menno-Olivet Care Center in December 2012 and resided there with his wife, Noverna until his death. Grateful for sharing his life is his wife, Noverna of Menno; his sons: Delven (Barbara) of Bristol, IN, Delray of Keystone Height, FL, and Glen (Jennet) of De Ridder, LA; six grandchildren and a sister, Luella (Lother) Goehring of Delmont. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Herbert, Ervin, Raymond, Marvin, Albert, Reno and Alton and sister, Evelyn.
